Issue 79: Improve usability by displaying key mappings
Reported by Shuning Bian, Jun 18, 2010
Firstly, gmenu2x is an excellent start for having a user-friendly Ben. However due to it's origins, gmenu2x works with game controller keys, e.g. A, B, start, select, etc. It necessary needs to map keys on the ben's qwerty kb to game controller keys. The problem is these mappings are not obvious, and as far as I can tell, not discoverable in anyway using the application itself, other than by randomly pressing keys and seeing what happens. A splash tutorial of some description would help here. Otherwise gmenu2x is a hinderance to new and experienced users alike: new users will be frustrated by the inability to launch programs using "enter" (since it maps to start), and experienced users will be frustrated at the inability to get their command line back :P Cheers, Steve
